Founded in May of 1988, Tri-State Testing Services, Inc. (TST) continues providing quality drilling, testing and inspection services for the Construction and Environmental industries.

Equipment

 

TST operates state of the art drill rigs including truck mounted, ATV mounted, track mounted and skid mounted. In addition, our direct push units are also truck, track and skid mounted. Our field testing equipment is also state of the art, including the latest in nuclear technology as well as infrared and visual technology.

 

TST currently operates five drill rigs and three direct push units. All are fully equipped with state of the art environmental sampling equipment.

 

The three direct push rigs include two GeoprobeŽ systems and an EarthprobeŽ system for subsurface investigations and remediation projects. Since our acquisition of the GeoprobeŽ system in 1994, we have had extensive experience in soil sampling, water sampling and soil vapor sampling as well as permanent implants for bio-remediation.

 

Laboratory

 

Our laboratories have capabilities to run over 700 test procedures ranging from permeability of soil to Rockwell hardness of steel and everything in between. Test procedures include ASTM, AASHTO, AWS, ANSI, Corps of Engineers and many others. Our laboratory is approved by many state, federal and independent certifying authorities.
